Anniversary Celebration!!!

Hi everyone! I have been MIA lately because I’m working on Something Just Ain’t Right 3, which is the final book in the series. For those of you who have purchased the second book, I truly appreciate the support. I know for some of you, this series is a little different from what you’re used to from me, and I totally understand that. That’s why I have been doing a lot of thinking lately on where I want my writing future to go after this series. I have come to a decision that probably will make some people upset, but I realized during the months while I was working on SJAR, that I need to make the best decision for me and not for anyone else. With that being said, I will make an announcement regarding the next step in my writing career once the third book is released.

Now, since that is out of the way, let’s move on to more happier topics, like polls! May 14th will mark the 2-year anniversary of me becoming an author; so to celebrate, I wanted to do something wonderful. Usually, I would do polls on the site to see how readers feel about a certain book or character; but now, I would like to do a bunch of polls to celebrate all of the books I have done in the past 2 years.

Below will be 5 different polls ranging from favorite book to favorite couple. You can vote as many times as you like on each poll before May 13th. On my anniversary day, not only will I be announcing the winners from each poll, but I will also be doing a giveaway for several books from each series!

Remember to vote on your favorites starting now. Looking forward to seeing who will be chosen! 🙂

Poll: Who Is Your Book Boyfriend?

Hi everyone!!! So, I recently read Impossibly True by Shane Morgan (which is an excellent book, by the way), and I loved the relationship between Moya and Branden. Branden stopped at nothing to make the relationship he had with Moya perfect, which got me thinking about the male characters in my books. Each character has a quality that makes him unique. With every book, there’s always one character that stands out from the rest; from the romantic gestures he endures for his lady love or his personality, which can spark an interest to any woman’s heart. Now, I know I have done a couple of polls recently, but I’m curious to know, given the choice, who would be your book boyfriend? Would it be Michael from Our Love, or Marcus from Trust Me? There will be several choices to choose from, so pick as many times as you want. I will announce the winner at the end of the month.

I’m also doing a Q&A session with the New Adult Book Club on Goodreads starting March 7th. The session will be for three days. No matter what the question may be, ask away and I will gladly answer it 🙂

And if you’re on Facebook. remember to go to my book group, Sheena Binkley Reading Palace to join. The group will be starting a discussion soon, so make sure to join!

Poll Winners!!!!

Happy Sunday everyone!!! Back in December, I created a poll asking you to pick the next book idea. The responses were more than what I expected, and now I have the winner!!

With 75% of your votes, the winner for the new book idea is:

Love Unbroken, Part 2

For anyone who have already purchased Trust Me, you probably noticed the story was included in the Coming Soon section at the end of the book. The title has changed to Love Always, and will be available in November. I will have more details regarding the book soon!!!

You also may have noticed that I included Resisting Temptation (previously titled Fighting Temptation) in the Coming Soon section as well. Hayley and Morgan’s story will be a three-part series. The first story will be available in December.

Another poll was created in January asking you which is your favorite book couple. Honestly, I didn’t think I would get a huge response from this poll, but you all really surprised me. Another surprise is that there was a tie.

With 33% each, the winners of the favorite couple poll is:

Tia & Charles: A Chance at Love

Cheryl & Marcus: Trust Me

I was really surprised with Cheryl and Marcus, considering their story wasn’t even released when the poll was created!

With that in mind, for those who have purchased Trust Me, would you like Cheryl’s siblings, Kevin and Elise to have their own stories? Just a thought 🙂

I also created a book group on Facebook! If you are on Facebook and want to discuss any of the books with other readers, then this is the group for you! This is a closed group, so make sure to request an invite, and I will be glad to grant the request.

Until the next post, happy reading 🙂

Who Is Your Favorite Book Couple?

One thing I love about reading a good book is being invested in the characters. Whether I love them or hate them, I sometimes forget that the book is strictly fiction and that the characters are part of a story. The stories I write are no different, which had me wondering which couple do I love the most. For me, that’s hard to say considering I created all of my characters, but it doesn’t hurt to wonder. That’s where you all come in. Who is your favorite book couple? Is it Camille and Trevor from In Love With My Best Friend, or Riana and Shawn from Love Unbroken?

A poll will be at the bottom of this post to pick your favorite couple. I will announce the winner when I announce the winning book idea for me to write next in March!
