Hi everyone! With all authors, reviews are very important so interested readers can not only know other readers’ opinions about a particular book, but also to express their thoughts on a certain character, scene, or the book overall. For me, as a reader and an author, I love to read reviews, because honestly, that’s how I’m able to determine if I want to purchase a certain book. Sometimes, the blurb will grab my attention, but majority of the time, I will purchase a book based on the reviews alone.
For many authors, especially unknown ones, many curious readers will probably look at reviews to see if it’s worth their time and money. That was the case with me when I first started out. As much as I love the readers who spend their hard-earned money to purchase and read all of my stories, no one ever comments on them. If you have ever purchased or read any of my books, please post a review on any retailer website or book websites, such as Goodreads. That way other readers can read your thoughts. Not only that, but I will be able to know if there are any improvements I will need to do on future stories (there are always room for improvement). So it would be beneficial as well as informative. But for those of you who have posted reviews on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Goodreads, I sincerely thank you for it.
