She started her career writing teleplays and screenplays before switching gears and tackling a novel. 1. Besides writing, what else do you like to do?
I love to read. I spend too much time watching TV and movies.
2. What inspired you to become an author?
I don’t remember a time when I didn’t write stories’ so becoming an author was just putting a label on what I had always done in my youth.
3. What was your first reaction when your debut novel was published?
My debut novel had been read by a lot of people before it was actually published so my first reaction was a sense of relief that I finally got it out to possible be discovered by readers that didn’t know me.
4. Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
In the future I see myself writing more books, tackling more controversial topics and expanding my brand.
5. What advice can you give to anyone who wants to become an author?
My best advice is in order to write, you have to read. Reading is the most important part of gaining the skills needed to be an author and being successful at writing.
